Who travels on Equinox Explore trips?
Equinox Explore trips are open to Equinox members and their guests.
What’s included in the trip price?
Mostly everything. Refer to the “Inclusions” section of the Equinox Explore itinerary for full details.
What is the deposit and payment policy?
Equinox Explore requires a $750 deposit to confirm your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The final balance is due 60 days prior to the trip departure date.
How fit do I need to be?
Equinox Explore trips are designed to challenge and push your limits. That said, each trip is categorized by a specific challenge level that ranks difficulty. We recommend reading “The Challenge” detail box on the trip webpage for more trip specific information on the activity level. If you still have questions, please reach out to explore@equinox.com for more information.
How should I train for my trip?
All Equinox Explore trips have a detailed training program to assist guests in best preparing for the challenge to come. We will email out the training program to each guest prior to the start of the recommended training time (e.g. two or three months prior to the trip departure).
Will the instructor or coach on the website be leading my trip?
Equinox Explore is excited to be pairing wonderful trips with stellar Equinox talent. Our website highlights a few coaches and group fitness instructors who’ve added knowledge and expertise to specific trips. Please note that Equinox Explore does not guarantee any specific instructor or coach for your trip. Your instructor or coach will be communicated to all confirmed participants approximately two months in advance of the trip, though this can vary trip to trip.
Is there an age restriction?
Trip participants must be 21 years or older.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
The destinations we visit have wonderfully diverse cuisines that can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and we are happy to work with you to create the best plan of action. Please note, however, that some countries do not have access to specialty grocery stores and certain food items. To ensure the highest quality of service, please be sure to communicate in detail any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
